Background: The Batasiolo Estate has vineyards holdings located within the prized Barolo wine-growing areas: Batasiolo, Morino, Cerequio and Brunate in La Morra; Boscareto and the historical Briccolina in Serralunga d’Alba; Bricco di Vergne and Zonchetta in Barolo; Tantesi and Bussia Bofani in Monforte d’Alba. Set amidst the gentle contours of the Batasiolo vineyard, the Estate cannot be understood without admiring the expanses of its vineyards in the finest and most important wine-growing villages of the Langhe.
Tasting notes: A wine of intense ruby red colour and with garnet according to aging. The nose shows intense and delicate aromas of ripe fruit that evolve into spicy notes with subtle floral nuances. The palate is full-bodied, tannic and pleasantly cool. Good intensity and persistence.
