Background: Argyros Estate was established in 1903 and is now run by Matthew Argyros, the fourth generation of the family to do so although the family has been involved in grape growing on Santorini for 200 years.
Tasting Notes: Pale lemon green in colour. Purity focused, dominated by citrus, lemon and lime aromas with a hint of salinity. On the palate it is dry with a piercing acidity. It is textured, medium to full bodided that feels broad yet lively, showcasing flavours of fresh apricot, roasted almonds and white tea. The finish is long, clean and refreshing.

Tasting Notes: On the nose, there are complex aromas of citrus fruit, roasted nuts, honeycomb, butter, with herbal notes following minerality present throughout. In the mouth there is a stunning elegance with the body being full, high acidity, smooth butteriness and a long wonderful aftertaste.
Food Pairing: This wine pairs well with seafood, grilled fish, spaghetti with lobster, pork with lemon sauce, poultry, risotto, mushrooms, creamy and smoked cheeses.
