Region: England, Hampshire Grape variety: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier
Background: The wine was produced by celebrated winemaker Dermot Sugrue.
Winemaking process: Pressed to extract only the finest portion of juice. Vinified entirely in stainless steel tanks. The Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier were fermented and aged separately, with malolactic fermentation carried out only partially to retain structure and give extra ability for extended lees ageing.
Tasting notes: A super concentrated nose. Opulent, polished aromas of lemon peel, pink lady apple and fresh pastry. The palate is bright and intense; a wicked line of clean acidity keeps it brisk, the well-ripe fruit hangs off it keenly. Crisp pear, subtle tropical fruit notes. Long, tense toasted-brioche finish.

Winemaking process: The 2015 Rosé was vinified entirely in stainless steel tanks. The red wine, used in the assemblage for colour and red fruit character, was cold soaked on its skins for several days prior to fermentation. The remaining elements of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier were fermented and aged separately, with malolactic fermentation carried out on the Chardonnay only.
Tasting notes: It has an intense strawberry colour, is bold yet nuanced with a rich depth of red fruit flavours.
An aromatic, exciting nose with bold, lifted red berry fruits alongside savoury spice and baked brioche. Tart baked rhubarb and crunchy, juicy cranberry on the palate. A lovely approachable style, offering excellent maturity and depth of flavour. Great concentration with fresh acid and lovely lees texture. A rich, complex rosé. Long, clean finish.

Background: Artelium’s 2015 Blanc de Blancs is a mature, finely structured example of this most elegant of styles.
Winemaking process: Hand-picked from a single vineyard in Hampshire. The wine was produced by celebrated winemaker Dermot Sugrue. 250 cases only produced. Following a gentle pressing to extract only the finest portion of juice. The 2015 Blanc de Blancs was vinified entirely in stainless steel tanks. Partial malolactic fermentation was carried out prior to bottling and extended lees ageing.
Tasting notes: Delicate orange blossom and sweer shortcrust pasrty on the nose with flavours of refreshing lemon sorbet and a long finish on the palate.
A super clean nose. Rolling layers of gentle bready autolysis, over taut citrus peels, and fresh citrus juice. A very fine structure; concentrated and vital, but lightly weighted, very lean and fine with gently saline minerality. The palate builds with subtle grapefruit joining the citrus and fresh green orchard fruits. Acidity remains bracing, as it should and gives the energy and framework to hang the mature fruit, pastry and subtle nuttiness from on the finish.
