Tasting Notes: Deep ruby red with violet reflections. Intense aromas of ripe black cherry, plum, macerated black fruit, coffee and spices. On the palate it is velvety and soft, featuring rich tannins with a "chocolatey" texture, balanced by a surprisingly fresh acidity. On the finish is it long and persistent with lingering spiced notes.

Food Pairing: Best to pair with rich, savoury dishes, including grilled meats, roasted lamb, game, stew and aged cheeses.
