Background: This wine, of French origins, became famous and popular around the world because of Australian producers. It was introduced in Sicily in early ‘90s. It has a very low quantity for hectare and the maceration of its grapes has to be at controlled temperature for about 10-12 days.

Tasting Notes: This Sicilian ruby red wine has crimson highlights. The nose is taken by a fruity bouquet. Juicy ripe berry fruits such as blackberry - and sun-ripened cherries are revealed. On the palate, this wine has a wonderfully full body that is enveloped by lively, well-integrated tannins. The pleasant finish awaits with a wonderful freshness.

Food Pairing: This wine goes very well with red meat, barbecued and grilled meat, game birds and seasoned cheese.
