Background: Hardly surprising as this little beauty is from Albariño's home Rías Baixas. A wet and breezy corner of Galicia, that's more Cornwall than Spain, and bagpipes are a national treasure - it's a happy hunting ground for crisp summer whites. Hailing from the cool Val do Salnés, a commune described by Decanter Magazine as the "true identity of Rías Baixas Albariño".

Tasting Notes: Pale golden yellow in colour, the wine has aromas of fresh apricot, white flowers and a touch of honey. It offers generuos flavours of white peaches, apricots and a hint of grapefruit enlivened by crisp and refreshing acidity.

Food Pairing: Perfect with seafood, grilled octopus and other typical dishes based on seafood, oysters or mussels.
