Region: Lisbon, Portugal
Grape Variety: Touriga Nacional, Cabernet Sauvignon & Syrah
Winemaking Process: Late harvested, the grapes are cold soaked for 24 hours prior to a controlled fermentation in stainless steel at approx 24-26 degrees for 14 days. Further maceration for 28 days with submerged skins followed by malolactic fermentation in American oak barrels.
Tasting Notes: A ripe red blend that enters like a wolf in sheep's clothing. Soft but crisp and fresh. Fruity but spicy. The extra maturity of the grapes gives a round, full character but it maintains poise and freshness. The most delicious abaaassimento style baaa none!
