Dagaz El Camino Cabernet Sauvignon/Carmenere

Region: Colchagua Valley, Chile

Grape Variety: 70% Cabernet Sauvignon & 30% Carmenere

Vinification: The Cabernet Sauvignon and the Carmenere harvest began on March 23. The yield was 1,8 Kg/plant. In the winery bunches were selected, followed by a cold soaking of 5 days at 8 degress celsius. Then fermentation for three weeks and maceration for 10 days.

Tasting Notes: This wine has a nice ruby red colour. On the nose great red fruit, which are mixed with light notes of cedar and spices, which from its aging in barrels. In the mouth it is soft, but with a good tannin structure. It is elegant, complex and has good persistence.
